May 2027 TOK Sample Essays: The A-Pack

Meet the A-Pack. Pick your prescribed title and get three full sample essays on it, each taking a different approach, plus a breakdown of what makes each one work. Written and picked apart by a former IB examiner.

3 full essays per title

Three different strategies and organization for each essay.

A breakdown of each

I show you what works and what is guaranteed to impress.

From an IB examiner

I grade more TOK essays than anyone each year.

Not sure which title to choose?

The Complete Set has all six packs: 18 essays in one download.

Questions, answered

Is using sample essays allowed?

Yes. Reading exemplars is how you learn what a strong essay looks like, and the IB publishes its own. What's not allowed is copying one. These are study tools: learn the moves, then write your own.

Which title should I pick?

The one you keep arguing with. If you can't decide, the Complete Set lets you read essays on all six before you commit.

What's in each pack?

Three full-length essays on one prescribed title, each taking a different approach, plus a breakdown of what makes each one work.

When do I get the pre-orders??

Pre-orders will be delivered in October 2026. You pay the discounted price now and the pack is delivered as a PDF via email when released.

Who wrote these?

Patrick Jones - an IB examiner and the guy from Get an A in TOk.
